Naresh Agastya and Faria Abdullah are playing the lead pair in the upcoming film “Gurram Papireddy.” Presented by Dr. Sandhya Goli, the film is produced by Venu Saddi, Amar Bura, and Jayakanth (Bobby). Director Murali Manohar has crafted this film with a unique concept in the dark-comedy genre — something Telugu cinema hasn’t witnessed before. With all production formalities completed, Gurram Papireddy is gearing up for a worldwide theatrical release on December 19.

Because of talented actors like Yogi Babu and John Vijay, we are also planning a Tamil release. Though dark comedies often carry both positive and negative elements, our story leans towards positivity. Some characters are inspired by people I’ve met in real life. This film explores how the lives of clever and not-so-clever people change when their roles reverse. We’ve showcased this conflict through humor.”
