The Mad boys are back and if the sequel trailer, which was released at an event in Hyderabad on Wednesday morning, is any pointer, then we are in for double the entertainment.
Clocking in at two minutes, the trailer opens with the impending wedding of Laddu (Vishnu Oi) with the MAD trio--Ashok (Narne Nithin), DD (Sangeeth Sobhan) and Manoj (Ram Nithin) converging at the wedding. Things are going fine at the wedding until some minor hiccups surface, leading to the MAD gang calling for the wedding to be called off. Soon things completely spiral out of control and it appears that the wedding is called off. Next up, the gang along with Laddu land in Goa to have some fun. Giving them company at Goa is their college principal (Raghu Babu) who has built a resort there for newlyweds to have a good time. As the boys indulge in some fun and frolic, the trip, however, takes a surprising turn, with police on the lookout for them. And to escape them, they don cop outfits. More chaos ensues as Laddu’s dad (Muralidhar Goud) lands in Goa. Even the underworld too is on the boys trail. But the boys are boys, right? What next seems to form the crux of the story!
Rounding up, Mad Square trailer amps up the humour quotient to a great degree, with director Kalyan Shankar in fine form. His cheeky one-liners land perfectly, eliciting a ton of laughter. Every character out there entertains us, with actors like Muralidhar Goud, Sangeeth Sobhan and Satyam Rajesh standing out with their timing. The clip hints at a whirlwind of confusion, hilarious misunderstandings and the undeniable chemistry between the engineering friends, promising a comedic rollercoaster. There are exotic locations, glossy dance numbers and what not, guaranteeing laugh-a-minute.
Produced by Haarika Suryadevara and Sai Soujanya, Mad Square, a Bheems Ceciroleo musical, opens in cinemas this Friday.
