From her very first film, Telugu girl Sreeleela has been racing ahead on the Telugu silver screen with back-to-back opportunities. Hearing Sreeleela’s name instantly reminds audiences of top-notch dance numbers. She possesses the ability to match steps with heroes competitively. Very soon, she will also be seen alongside Pawan Kalyan in Ustaad Bhagat Singh. Sreeleela says Ustaad Bhagat Singh will create entertainment havoc on screen. After the massive success of Dhamaka, she is pairing up once again with Ravi Teja in Mass Jathara. The film is releasing worldwide on the 31st of this month. As part of promotions, she gave an interview to Idlebrain Jeevi.
For the first time in a film, she will be speaking in Srikakulam dialect and appearing in a fresh avatar. With the already-released trailer receiving tremendous response, audience and industry expectations on this film have shot up in a big way.
Speaking about her experience, Sreeleela said: During Dhamaka, hero Ravi Teja supported her a lot and would give many suggestions regarding expressions while acting. Acting with him is very comfortable, she said. Because of that, by the time Mass Jathara happened, all her fear and hesitation about acting with Ravi Teja disappeared.
Talking about acting with Mahesh Babu in Guntur Karam and matching his dance energy in the songs, she said everything aligned perfectly at that time, and with the blessings from above, the songs turned out so well. She said that when she listens to the story of a film she’s about to do, she must instantly like it and feel like watching it herself. Only then does she choose such scripts.
Responding to criticism on social media, Sreeleela said:
“There’s no rule that everyone must like us. Some people connect with certain things in a person, some don’t. That’s their personal space. If I feel hurt by criticism from two or three people, it means I’m ignoring the many who trust and love me. Criticism is just time-pass for some. Let them do it,” she replied in her own style.
Speaking about a film she’s doing in Bollywood, she said that although there are language differences, emotions remain the same whether it’s Bollywood or Tollywood. She revealed that before Mass Jathara, director Bhanu Bhogavarapu narrated a different story to her. When he came back a second time, he narrated Mass Jathara. He has complete clarity on the story, she added.
Talking about her favorite dance numbers from her films, she said:
“Madhura Nagarilo” from Pelli SandaD,
“Pulsar Bike” from Dhamaka,
“Kurchi Madathapetti” from Guntur Kaaram,
“Kisik” from Pushpa 2, and
“Super Duper” from Mass Jathara
are her favorites. She added that the Kisik song helped her gain opportunities in the Hindi industry as well.
She said she really enjoyed Rashmika’s The Girlfriend trailer and even messaged her personally to compliment her. She admires anyone who acts brilliantly. Among heroines, she loves Keerthy Suresh, Samantha, and Rashmika. She said she gets inspired watching those who have worked hard to build their careers.
She added that she loves painting, poetry, singing, and playing the veena. In the past, she has also represented the state in hockey competitions.

శ్రీలీల మాట్లాడుతూ.. 'ధమాకా' టైమ్ లో హీరో రవితేజ తనకెంతో సహకరించేవారని, నటించేటప్పుడు హావభావాల విషయాల్లో చాలా సలహాలు ఇచ్చేవారని, ఆయనతో నటించడం చాలా సౌకర్యంగా ఉంటుందన్నారు. దాంతో 'మాస్ జాతర' కు వచ్చేసరికి రవితేజతో నటించడానికి భయం, మొహమాటాల్లాంటివి అన్నీ పోయాయన్నారు. 'గుంటూరు కారం' లో మహేష్ బాబుతో నటించడం, ఆ సినిమా పాటల్లో హీరోకు ధీటుగా డాన్స్ వేయడం గురించి మాట్లాడుతూ అప్పటికి అన్నీ కుదరడంతో, పైనున్న అమ్మ పలికించడంతో ఆ సినిమాలో పాటలు అంత బాగా రాగలిగాయన్నారు. తను చేయబోయే సినిమా కథ విన్నప్పుడే తనకు నచ్చాలని, చూడాలనిపించాలన్నారు. అలాంటి కథలనే ఎంచుకుంటానన్నారు.
