Young hero Naresh Agasthya’s forthcoming venture Meghalu Cheppina Prema Katha, directed by Vipin and produced by Uma Devi Kota under the Sunethra Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. banner, generated a lot of enthusiasm with its soulful musical tone, evocative teasers, and melodious songs. The two distinct teasers, each revealing a different emotional layer of the story, have piqued audience curiosity and set good expectations. Today, they came up with the film’s theatrical trailer.
A passionate aspiring musician, determined to follow in the footsteps of his legendary grandmother, faces fierce opposition from his father who disowns him for pursuing music. Seeking inspiration, he escapes to a serene hill station, where he encounters a lively and enchanting girl who changes his perspective. Amid personal struggles and emotional hurdles, he must prove his talent, win his love, and fullfill his dreams against all odds.
Meghalu Cheppine Prema Katha promises a poignant love story woven with emotion, conflict, and soul-stirring visuals. Director Vipin wins brownie points for his poetic touch in writing, and impressive taking. Cinematographer Mohana Krishna presented the exotic locations quite breathtakingly, while Justin Prabhakaran’s soulful background score, paired with emotionally charged moments, elevates the narrative further. The production values are remarkable for the genre of the movie. Thota Tharani is the art director and Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor.
The lead pair’s chemistry feels both tender and raw, navigate through different moments. Naresh Agasthya is brilliant in the role of an aspiring musician, whereas Rabiya Khatoon is cool as his love interest. Radhika Sarathkumar makes her presence felt as Naresh Agasthya’s grandmother.
With the trailer setting the bar high, Meghalu Cheppine Prema Katha is getting ready for its theatrical release on August 22nd.
