The anticipated teaser of cinematographer-turned-director Karthik Gattamneni’s Mirai, fronted by Teja Sajja, Manchu Manoj and Ritika Nayak, is out and it’s nothing short of a visual treat.
A little over two minutes, the teaser opens with Jayaram’s sadhu character prophesying that emperor Ashoka’s goal will be buried soon and that no force born in Kaliyuga will stop it. We later see visuals of destruction caused by war and a king crestfallen. Manchu Manoj as The Black Sword is introduced next and the actor is at the top of his game, letting out a mean streak that is hard to ignore. He will kill any threat that comes in his way. We also see characters like Jagapathi Babu and Shriya Saran worried about the impending danger from The Black Sword. Jayaram appears again and states that it’s not God but a sword that will show the way. It is called Mirai. More than a minute into the teaser, we get a glimpse of leading man Teja who is a Yodha but doesn’t know his true potential. A child character asks him to look inward for answers and he starts. He soon realizes that he has to protect nine sacred scriptures of Ashoka from falling into the hands of The Black Sword and this journey takes him on an epic ride that alters his life forever.
In conclusion, the teaser is a mix of pulse-pounding drama, sizzling action and earnest emotions, offering a glimpse into a story that is spellbinding and intriguing at the same time. With its stunning visuals, lavish production values and a score that heightens the stakes, the teaser, letting a peek into the fascinating world of Mirai, promises an epic adventure. The last shot where apes bow as Lord Sri Rama walks, is a pure goosebumps-inducing one and it looks like Mirai has such moments aplenty.
TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory is producing the film which is slotted for a release in 2D and 3D formats, in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Marathi and Chinese languages, on September 5th later this year.
