Leading producer Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers expressed confidence that 2026 will be a milestone year for them. Giving a peek into their slate for the next year at an event of Nithiin-starrer Robinhood in Hyderabad on Wednesday, he said, “In 2026, we have big-budgeted films lined up. There is Prashanth Neel-NTR project, Ram Charan-Buchi Babu Sana project, Prabhas-Hanu Raghavapudi project, Jai Hanuman and Rahul Sankrityan-Vijay Deverakonda project. There is (Pawan) Kalyan garu’s film as well. If it gets completed this year, we will release it next year. Our focus is on these half-a-dozen films.”
He added, “2026 is going to be a huge year. It will be something else for Mythri. We saw the teaser of Ram Charan-Buchi Babu Sana film yesterday. There’s a shot in it and it will be viewed 1,000 times by everyone; it has come out extraordinarily well. We saw the rushes of Hanu Raghavapudi project at noon. The screenplay for some emotional scenes; it is something else. Like I said earlier, Prashanth Neel-NTR project will be an international film; it will surpass your standards; it will be next level. Then there is Jai Hanuman. We are building assets for it now so that computer graphics will not take too much time. Rishab Shetty will join it in November. These four films will be nothing short of blockbusters. If they only get a hit talk, I will take whatever the media says to me. They are wonderful stories and are coming out well.
“Rahul Sankrityan has worked on the details of Vijay Deverakonda’s film for two-and-a-half years. The script has come out exceedingly well. Our sixth release next year will be Kalyan garu’s film. If his film is coming, no pan India buzz will be enough. Harish Shankar has locked the script; it’s extraordinary as well. We are waiting for Pawan Kalyan garu’s call. At any cost, we want to wrap it up this year and release it next year. So 2026 will be a prestigious year for Mythri. We will achieve something else next year.”
