Buzz about Nani-starrer The Paradise has escalated into a stratospheric level after the release of its first glimpse earlier this week. While Nani has an upcoming project HIT 3 slated to release later this summer, it’s The Paradise that has got everyone waiting with bated breath.
In a recent interaction about The Paradise, which documents societal prejudice set against the backdrop of 1980s Secunderabad, Nani revealed that the film will be India’s equivalent to global box office smash Mad Max. “This is India’s Mad Max, and I believe this with utmost sincerity. The tone and nature of The Paradise will be wild, and that wildness will be accompanied by poetic justice,” the actor, who will be going for a makeover for the project, stated.
Film’s director Srikanth Odela said, “This time, we are not blurring or masking societal taboos. As a filmmaker, I am committed to presenting the film in its rawest form. The Paradise will stand as one of the most authentic, original and unapologetically honest Indian films, carrying immense potential and relevance to resonate with a global audience.”
The film marks the reteaming of the principal combination that gave us Dasara-- producer Sudhakar Cherukuri, Nani and Odela. The Paradise, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, is dated for a release on March 26, 2026. Odela along with Thota Srinivas, Arjuna Paturi, Vamsi Krishna Pinnika, Ajju Mahakali, Vasanth Masadi and Bala Ganesh K have written the screenplay.
