Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s prestigious 75th film with production houses Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas was launched in the third week of this month, with the principal photography commencing the same day in Hyderabad. The untitled project marks the directorial debut of writer Bhanu Bogavarapu, who shot to fame as the story and screenplay writer of the super hit Samajavaragamana, front-lined by Sree Vishnu. He also penned the dialogues of megastar Chiranjeevi-starrer Waltair Veerayya.

According to sources, #RT75 was shot for a week in multiple locales of Hyderabad. “A small action block under the supervision of Venkat master and another episode which didn’t require the presence of Ravi Teja was shot in this brief leg. The makers are gearing up to start the next schedule from July 1st in Hyderabad and it will go until July 25th. Ravi will be joining the sets from this schedule,” reveals a source.

The source adds that the film is a proper popcorn entertainer set in the backdrop of Araku. “It’s not a period film as some reports indicated recently. It’s a contemporary entertainer where Ravi will be seen as powerful as Vikram Rathore from Vikramarkudu and as ebullient as Kalyan from Kick. The makers are confident that the film’s new backdrop will charm the audience. A railway station set (presumably resembling that of Araku station) will be built for the film in the outskirts of Hyderabad and the makers will shoot in this set in the next schedule before they go to Araku in August,” the source notes.

Further, the source reveals that the likes of veterans Rajendra Prasad and Naresh Vijayakrishna have landed significant supporting parts in the film.

Ravi Teja is right now associated with Mr. Bachchan, which is in the last leg. Except for a song, the film’s shoot is over. Earlier this week, the makers filmed a duet in the picturesque locales of Kashmir. Shot on Ravi Teja and Bhagyashri Borse, film’s leading lady, it was choreographed by Sekhar master.
