Mega Prince Varun Tej celebrates his birthday today, and to mark the occasion, the official announcement of his 15th film has been made. The film #VT15 will be directed by Merlapaka Gandhi, known for making both humorous and adventurous films. The project will be produced on a grand scale by UV Creations and First Frame Entertainment.
The announcement poster shows a unique Korean connection, featuring an intriguing image of a jar with a fire dragon logo, surrounded by flames. The poster also showcases clothes with Korean text, adding to the mystery. What stands out the most is the caption: "When haunting turns hilarious!"—suggesting a thrilling yet entertaining adventure in store for the audience.
Merlapaka Gandhi has penned a winning script, blending thrills and humour seamlessly. This untitled Indo-Korean horror comedy will see Varun Tej in a fresh and unique role, as suggested by the poster and tagline. Following the massive success of Tholi Prema, Varun Tej is once again collaborating with the sensational, blockbuster music director S. Thaman for this exciting new project, which is set to begin production in March this year.
This marks Varun Tej’s first collaboration with both director Merlapaka Gandhi and UV Creations, although he has previously worked with First Frame Entertainment on the critically acclaimed Kanche. Merlapaka Gandhi previously made the sensational hit Express Raja under UV Creations banner.
