It is rumored that Mahesh Babu has some bias towards the directors and neglects the producers in the process. In the past Burugapally Siva Rama Krishna and Rama Lingeswara Rao alleged that Mahesh Babu encouraged the directors YVS Chowdary and Krishna Vamsi to spend as much money as they want till the maximum effect is achieved for the films Yuvaraju and Murari respectively. Producers have their own economics and they budget the film as per their estimations. But due to the spendthrift nature of directors, the films exceeded the budget and the producers were forced to release the film in deficit. Senior producers like Aswini Dutt, Burugapally Siva Rama Krishna and Rama Lingeswara Rao did not organize 100 days function for their films with Mahesh Babu for the same reason.

Here are three incidents in which Mahesh Babu avoided the producers and sided with the directors.

1. KS Rama Rao was supposed to produce the Mahesh Babu film in the direction of Jayant. But the director-hero duo changed the subject of the film from love story to cowboy genre film and avoided KS Rama Rao. That's how Takkari Donga was born.
2. AM Ratnam and SJ Surya approached Mahesh Babu to narrate the story of 'New'. But Mahesh Babu later on avoided AM Ratnam and announced the project 'New' with SJ Surya, which would be produced by Mahesh Babu's sister Manjula.
3. Jayabheri Kishore went to Mahesh Babu with a film to be directed by Trivikram Srinivas. Here again Mahesh Babu sided with Trivikram Srinivas and replaced the producer with Ramesh Babu and announced this film on 'Indira Creatives' banner.

Mahesh Babu might have his own reservations and aversions to work in films with senior producers. He might be right in his own way. But this kind of treatment apportioned to the senior producers is causing resentment for him in the industry.

In a bid to vent their anger and frustration, these producers are announcing projects with Jr. NTR, who is projected as the possible potential contender for Mahesh Babu. And all the senior producers are pleased with the kind of respect Jr. NTR bestows on them. Jr. NTR personally visits all the senior producers at regular intervals to seek their blessings and to request them to produce a film with him as hero. In this age, where the producers are merely treated as the suitcase carrying cashiers, this kind of 'chittam mahaprabho!' treatment by Jr. NTR is giving the producers all the kick and self-respect they need and deserve.

KS Rama Rao announced a film with Jr. NTR as hero in the direction of Raja Mouli (Student No.1 fame). AM Ratnam announced another mass film 'Naga' with Jr. NTR as hero. Aswini Dutt made 'Student No.1' with Jr. NTR. Burugapally Siva Rama Krishna is also planning a film with NTR.

As Mahesh Babu gives raw deal to the producers, Jr. NTR invites them with golden platter. 'Is mahesh babu's loss Jr. NTR's gain?? Only time will tell
