There is a girl who is ditched by her lover. There is another girl to whom two guys proposed on the same day. Another girl maintains three boyfriends simultaneously. Another girl is trying for a guy who is not reciprocating. And there is a girl who has no boyfriend and is desperately seeking one. The men-hating girl assembles all these girls in a hostel room and convinces them to put a test on the guys. All these girls choose their college auditorium and call their boyfriends. The rest of the story is all about arguments and a logical ending.
There are 26 new actors in the movie. Some of them are decent with their work and some of them are amateurish. Rao Ramesh is only the familiar actor in the entire cast.
There is no story in the film. It’s more like a set of case studies. Most of the first half takes place in a hostel room and most of the second half takes place in an auditorium. The director has come up with too many dialogues as most of the film is conversational. There are too many arguments. There are a couple of impressive scenes (girl explaining the friend-to-sex route on a whiteboard and a prospective groom coming out of pelli choopula photo). It is a big risk to have so many characters in the film and yet make each and every character distinct from each other. The director has shown drastic difference between each of the characterizations.
On the technical front, songs of the film scored by Sekhar Chandra are good. Cinematography is alright.
3G Love movie is verbose and conversational with a bit of good dialogues here and there. It’s raw in terms of showing the characters in black and white. Most of the characters' conversations revolve around love and sex. On a whole, 3G Love is not a film: it’s more like a debate and a case study with adult content thrown in.
