Expectations will naturally be high on a banner that has churned
out four hits in a row. More so, when their last movie has
been with Akkineni Nagarjuna, which turned out to be a big
hit. After the sensational film, "Hello Brother,"
Sri Durga Arts is coming up with one more entertainer, "Santhosham"
with Nagarjuna in the lead. Gracy Singh of "Lagaan"
fame is making her debut in South Indian films in a sprightly
role. Special appearance by Prabhu Deva with Sriya as his
                    co-star is a surprise package.

The film also marks the entry of young director Dararath.
After shooting in Ooty, Rajahmundry, Mumbai and Hyderabad,
the last schedule is in progress in New Zealand.

Says producer K.L. Narayana: "It is a beautiful love
story. Love blossoms between two adults set against a family
backdrop, with child sentiment and wholesome entertainment
                    thrown in.

"Nagarjuana plays the lighter-vein role of an architect
based abroad. He is not the kind to be cowed down by adverse
situations, as he takes them in his stride, and tackles them
with a smile. Enamored by his positive attitude towards life,
the heroine responds positively to his love.

"After a long time, Prabhu Deva is acting in a Telugu
film. He will be seen in a special role. He has also choreographed
for a couple of songs, one of which has been filmed on him
and Sofia Huq in Mumbai at a discotheque set. Nagarjuna and
Prabhu Deva meet in an unexpected situation, and with this,
the story takes twists and turns.

"Like in our earlier movies, music plays a vital role
in this film too, with all the six songs and three smaller
numbers conveying the subject and providing lilting entertainment
with ear-friendly score by R.P. Patnaik."

Dasarath says that through his debut venture, he is trying
to capture human relationships and emotions at their best
on celluloid. "The characters in the film area replica
of real life characters and hence look natural. Though we
have two heroines, it is not a love triangle. It is a feel
good film with no negative characters."

"There are no villains in the story. You find only a
positive angle in every character. The situations seem to
influence the behavioral pattern of the characters and have
a direct impact on their relationship. Dasarath has scripted
and directed it well. The audience can easily identify with
the characters. After completing post-production work in April,
we plan to release the movie in May informs the film's presenter
                    and cinematographer, S. Gopal Reddy.

                    K. Viswanath plays the role of the heroine's father and Sunil
has been cast in a key role.
