The AP Film Censor board has awarded U certificate for Andhrawala
film on 26th of December. A few slang abuses in Hindi were
objected by the censored board which were corrected by the
producer later.
300+
prints and 450+ theaters
The
demand for prints is increasing day by day as the D-day is
approaching. The final print number is expected to cross 300.
The number of theaters are increasing everyday for this film.
Even in small centers like Aija in Nizam, two theaters are
going to screen Andhrawala. For the first time in the history
of Nizam, a film is releasing in more than 110+ theaters.
In all centers of Godari districts, more number theaters are
being taken for the exhibiton because the collectors of these
districts issued a firm guidelines to control number of shows,
ticket rates, black marketing etc. To generate more revenues
in the first week, the distributors increased number of theaters
phenomenally, as each theater would be screening only 4 shows
a day. The expected theater count is 450+.

First
official print in Coimbattore
Telugu
films were released in Coimbattore earlier. But all those
prints were unofficial prints where producer does not get
any royalty. For the first time in the history of Coimbattore,
a producer is releasing an official print. The negotiations
are on with Ragam-Tanam-Pallavi theater complex. And Andhrawala
would be screened in one of these theaters. For the starters,
Coimbattore has a very high population of Telugu people.
First
Telugu film in DTS & Dolby
DTS
and Dolby are the most popular sound systems prevailing in
entertainment industry. We have seen numerable Telugu films
released in either DTS or Dolby. For the first time in the
history of Telugu cinema, a Telugu film (Andhrawala) is being
digitally mastered in both DTS and Dolby EX sound systems.
The producer paid royalties to both these companies for using
their sound formats.
First
DTS theatrical trailer in Telugu film industry
Theatrical
trailers are rare commodity for Telugu films. With such kind
of craze for big heroes, there is no necessity for any producer
to release a theatrical trailer. But the producer got a trailer
done that encapsulates scenes from audio function and visuals
of songs and fights. And in addition to this he spent around
Rs. 1 lakh to get it in DTS format. Around 200 trailers were
released and sent to the theaters playing Shivamani to screen
these trailers.
Price
slash for Satyam complex in Chennai
The
tickets of Andhrawala are selling at rapid pace at all counters
including other states like Tamil Nadu. This film is releasing
in Satyam complex and the tickets were sold out for the first
5 days. Since it's a mass film, the producer Giri has taken
a conscious decision to slash the price of higher class from
Rs 50/- to Rs 40/- so that he could attract more masses to
the theaters. A Telugu film is releasing with 6 prints for
the first time in Tamil Nadu in the form of Andhrawala.
