How
are the collections of Bhadra?
Even today (17th May), Bhadra is going housefuls in
all centers. This film is a big hit. Range would be known
after 3 weeks depending on how other big films that are releasing
in the next couple of weeks fare. Bhadra is collecting
almost double the share in all areas compared to Ravi Teja's
previous hit Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammai. The expected
first week share is around 6 crores. This share is at par
with any of the top heroes openings. In a place like Bellari,
if Idiot and Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammai collected
a share of 4 lakhs and 5 lakhs respectively in total run,
Bhadra is collecting 4 lakhs in the first week itself.
What
about the mixed reports in the industry?
All the movie lovers are thoroughly enjoying the film. But
in our film industry, people are complaining about film. It
is natural. Films like Oke Okkadu, Murari and
Sakhi too generated bad talk in industry circles and
see how they fared at box office. It is not possible for all
films to carry unanimous reports in films industry. Only exceptions
have been Kushi, Aadi and Idiot in the
past five years.
How
do you respond to Bhadra as an audience, producer and
distributor?
As an audience, I am getting value for Rs. 30/- I spent on
ticket. As a distributor, I am getting one rupee of profit
on one rupee of investment. As a producer, I registered another
hit in my kitty (a hattrick).
Whom do you attribute the success of this film to?
Bhadra is the result of a complete team work. We had 135 rigorous
working days for this film.
Who
gave the storyline of the film?
The basic thread of story is given by Boyapati Srinu. We all
developed it later.
Don't
you think music is let down for this film?
The music is being enjoyed by the movie lovers. I watched
this film amidst audiences in Tirupati town and I observed
that nobody got up and went out during songs. I agree that
Bhadra songs are not as good as that of my previous
film Arya. But they are enjoyable enough. I liked 'O
Manasa' song immensely.
What
do you think Boyapati Srinu is good at?
Boyapati Srinu is good at conceiving mass scenes and family
episodes. I will be doing another film with him as director.
What
are the reasons for this kind of crazy openings for Bhadra?
The good will of our banner Sri Venkateswara Creations and
the promotion we did in the form of TV trailers and poster
designs.
Where
do you see Bhadra's box office position this summer?
As of today, it is number one. Depending on how the next two
biggies perform, the number could be 1, 2 or 3.
Tell
us about Sukumar's next film Sri Sri in your banner?
Sri Sri would be a different action film in the style of Sukumar.
Opening of this film would be held on 9th of July. A big youth
hero would act in the title role of this film.

us about Munna film?
Munna is the love story of a Hyderabad lad.
What
are the films you are going distribute on Venkateswara outlet
in Nizam?
I will be releasing Rajamouli - Prabhas combination film Chatrapati
in Nizam.
You
made different box office blockbusters like Dil and
Arya in the past. Why did you select a formula story
for 'Bhadra'?
If I had to wait for such a different storyline and different
director, I may have to produce one film in every three years.
Three years is a long time. A director can afford to wait
for 3 years. But a producer should regularly produce films.
Srisri in the direction Sukumar would be a different
film again.
