Audio of Raja Sekhar's Nayakudu was released at a function arranged in Film Chamber on the night of 19th August. MS Raju released the cassette and gave the first unit to SV Krishna Reddy and the second unit to AS Ravi Kumar Chowdary. Koti scored the music and Supreme music bought the audio rights.

Director Kodi Rama Krishna said that he saw the first copy of the film and liked it. He felt elated because Sagar though a director decided to remain as producer and gave a chance to him to direct Nayakudu. Raja Sekhar is playing the role of a responsible elder son in a family.

SV Krishna Reddy wished that this film would become a blockbuster like Ankusam in Rajasekhar - Kodi combination.

The celebrities who participated in this event include KC Sekhara Babu, K Achi Reddy, KL Narayana, ML Kumar Chowdary. Raasi Narasimha Rao, C Kalyan, Ramireddy, Mallidi Satyanarayana Reddy, Sai Sriharsha, Ravi, Jeevitha, Ayyappa Sharma, GV Sudhakar and Madhu Shalini.
