But for one song, the entire shoot of Dongalabandi, starring EVV Naresh, is complete. Made on GSK Network banner, the film was launched on June 12th. It is produced by GSK Naidu. Vegesna Satish, a story and dialogue writer makes his debut as director with this film. The film unit today held a media briefing at Film Chamber building, Hyderabad.

No confusion please: Naresh
Naresh said: "Currently, editing and dubbing are going on. In the recent months, a number of films of mine were released. The audience got confused about my films. Which film got released and which is under production – there is confusion on these aspects. So we want to hold this press meet and inform about it. The director did his job excellently. I wish to announce that I am going to do one more film in the direction of Vegesna Satish and the film will be launched in January 2009. As of Dongalabandi, it has superb music, cinematography. I assure the audience that the film will hundred percent reach their expectations."

No logic, only fun magic: Satish
Vegesna Satish said: "The title of Dongalabandi itself is a big plus point to our film. We shot for about 50 days at a remote village, 130 km from Badrachalam. It is in the thick forests facing a scenic waterfall. There we erected tribal hamlet set. All the artistes, including 27 comedians, participated in the shoot, coming all the way from Badrachalam each day, spending about 5 hours on the travel. The wave length of mine suited well with cinematographer Arun. The story is about treasure hunt in a forest. It is given a comedy touch completely. That's why have fixed the tagline – No Logic, only fun magic."

Shot amidst snakes and animals: Producer
Producer GSK Babu said: "We shot most scenes of the film in highly dangerous locations on the hilltops and valleys, surrounded by poisonous snakes and wild animals. I am thankful to EVV Satyanarayana garu for his advice from time to time. There is no wastage in this film. I took up this film production purely as business. So, I seek the support of the media and the film fraternity. "

Real adventures in comedy film
Cinematographer Arun Kumar said: "Though it's a comedy film, the entire shoot is made with big adventures and risky schedules in the backdrop of mountains, valleys and thick jungles. Tanya, the heroine, is very beautiful and will bring much glamour to the film."

Music director Rajasekhar said: "There is a lot of importance to music in Dongalabandi. I got absolute freedom to compose good tunes. I have been observing the filmmaking right form the beginning and I can say with a hundred percent confidence that it would become a blockbuster."

Highlight is that Naresh is shown in multiple getups as James Bond, Cowboy, Robin Hood etc in the film, besides wielding a six-pack abs getup for a brief while.

The cast includes MS Narayana, Krishna Bhagwan, Kovai Sarala, Puja Bharati, Rao Ramesh, Kondavalasa, Melkote, Jayaprakash Reddy, Shakeela are among the cast. Music is by Rajasekhar Valluri, lyrics are by Suddala Ashok Teja, Abhinaya Srinvas, and Surisetty Rama Rao.
