The shooting of Manoj's second film Sri is currently going on in Annapurna studios. A rap song 'Sindhura sindhura …' is being picturized on Manoj and Tamanna in the dance direction of Bollywood choreographer Ahmed Khan (Rangeela fame). 40 models are also participating in this song.

Mohan Babu said, "The title Sri is as powerful and as sacred as Om. Manoj is playing the role of Sri. Though technically its second film for Manoj, I consider Sri as his debut. There are six attractive songs in this film. Photographer Arun Kumar is doing good work. I am doing a special role that comes in the flashback episode. Shooting of the film would be completed in a couple of days. We are planning to release the audio on either 13th of 14th of this month. Supreme music bought audio rights. Sri would be released in the last week of this month. My daughter Lakshmi Prasanna is the producer of the film"

Director Dasarath said, "This film would be great in technical terms as we are using Digital Intermediate (DI) in order to get good quality output and neat color grading. This film has mother and friends sentiments. Tamanna is doing really well. Manoj is playing the role of a responsible youth who sets eyes on his career. Manoj is sure to get lots of acclaim through this film for his very risky stunts, nice histrionics and cool dance steps."
