The Don Bosco's province of Hyderabad was established in 1992 comprising of the States of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha. This year the Don Bosco is celebrating the Silver Jubilee of the birth of Province.

A Grand Gala event was held on Wednesday. Fr. Angel Artime Fernandez, Rector Major from Rome, the President of the Don Bosco's Institutions across the world, Hero Nikhil Siddharth, Nithya Naresh of Kerintha fame and Manali Rathod of Green Signal fame graced this colourful event. 700 street children were also presented on this occasion.

Don Bosco's society in the last 5 years has taken care of one lakh street children in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. It has 8 street children institutes in both the Telugu states.
