                "Only as high as I reach can I grow, Only as far as I seek 
                can I go, Only as deep as I look can I see, Only as much as I 
                dream can I be" said somebody. These words effectively sum 
                up the enthusiasm and effervescence of a whole bunch of young 
                and enthusiastic directors entering the dreamy world of Tollywood 
                these days. They wanna reach greater heights. They wanna seek 
                fame by treading unconquered territories. They wanna look beyond 
                their dreams for their dreams are today's answers to tomorrow's 
                questions. From 'wanna-be' to 'busy-bee', these new directors 
                are reaching their flowery destinations with a lilting buzz to 
                extract honey and spread their own flavor of savory syrup in the 
                hearts of cinegoers. 
              Change 
                is inevitable (except from a vending machine, adds a humor lover). 
                Gone are the days when directors were surrounded by a team of 
                storywriter, screenplay writer and a dialogue writer. While most 
                of the directors have already been writing their own screenplays 
                (since a long time) apart from directing movies, a new trend that 
                is conspicuous among most of the directors these days is - they 
                providing story and dialogues to their movies apart from heading 
                the screenplay and direction departments. Being multi-faceted 
                seems to be the order of the day. Being versatile sure is the 
                ruling factor today. 
              Young 
                and popular directors like Teja 
                (Chitram, Family 
                Circus, Nuvvu 
                Nenu, Jayam 
                and Nijam (in production)) and Poori Jagannath (Badri, 
                Bachi, Itlu Sravani 
                Subramanyam and Idiot (in production)) give story, 
                dialogues and screenplay to all their ventures apart from being 
                at the helm of directing their movies. Debutantes like Kasi 
                Viswanath (Nuvvu 
                Leka Nenu Lenu), Dasaradh 
                (Santosham) 
                and highly successful story-cum-dialogue writer Trivikram Srinivas 
                (Nuvve Kavali, 
                Nuvvu Naaku Nachhav, 
                Chirunavvutho 
                etc.), who is the recent one to be bit by the direction bug, are 
                some of the others who believe in directing their own stories 
                and also writing their own dialogues. 
              If 
                the above directors pen their own dialogues for their movies, 
                directors like Krishna Vamsi (Gulabi, Ninne Pelladatha, 
                Sindhooram, Chandralekha, Anthapuram, Samudram, 
                Murari), YVS 
                Choudhary (Sree Seetha Ramula Kalyanam Chootamu Rarandi, 
                Yuvaraju, Seetaramaraju, 
                Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo), 
                Karunakaran 
                (Tholiprema, Yuvakudu, Vasu), 
                Seenu Vytla (Nee Kosam, Aanandam), 
                VV Vinayak (Aadi), 
                Raghu Raj (Kalusukovalani), 
                Shekar Suri (Adrustam), 
                John (Preminchedi 
                Endukamma, Neeto), 
                who steer the story, screenplay and direction departments, are 
                depending on other dialogue writers like, successful and reliable 
                Paruchuri brothers, Ramana Chintapally, Trivikram, Marudhuri Raja 
                and relatively new dialogue writers like Vakkantham Vamsy, Viswanath, 
                Mohan Vamsi, Vijaya Kumar, for dialogues. 
              Apart 
                from our very own directors, eminently successful directors of 
                Bollywood, with blockbusters to their credit, like Sooraj Barjatya 
                (Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Hum Saath Saath Hain, 
                Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon (in production)), Aditya Chopra 
                (Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Mohabbatein, Na Jaane Pyar Kaise 
                Ho Gaya (in production)), Karan Johar (Kuch Kuch 
                Hota Hain, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham) and Farhan Akhtar 
                (Dil Chahta Hain) who provide story, dialogues and 
                screenplay to their movies, are also a source of inspiration to 
                the thousands of aspiring and talented movie buffs with multiple 
                talents, waiting to enter the film industry.  
              Most 
                of the directors entering the industry these days have a couple 
                of stories ready with them. Some inspired, some copied and some 
                of them, their own creative work. Once they get hold of a producer 
                and a hero, some extra talented directors start working on the 
                dialogues while the others find refuge with popular dialogue writers. 
                Translating their story into a gripping screenplay is by no means 
                a Herculean task for these eager-to-prove-themselves aspirants. 
                So once they are all set, they enter the bandwagon as the captain 
                of the ship curious to go on a cruise taking the audience with 
                them. Some of them sail successfully while some others sink like 
                Titanic taking all of us down with their sloppy product. But one 
                thing which is undeniable is, with their multiple talents these 
                versatile directors are not only giving the storywriters and dialogue 
                writers a run for their money by barging into their fields but 
                they are also putting the 'so-called' veterans of direction in 
                quandary.
