Background:
My mother is Telugu and my father is an American. I am an American. I do visit India at regular intervals. I came to Hyderabad last year to visit a friend and came to know that Dil Raju was auditioning for Maro Charitra. Dil Raju is known for good family films. I jumped at the opportunity and acted in Maro Charitra.

How is it like working for Maro Charitra?
It was a wonderful experience. Most of the movie was shot in USA. We were around 20 people working for the movie and all of us became very close. Varun Sandesh is also from USA and he made sure that I don’t feel like a new comer.

How is the response for your character in Maro Charitra?
People said that I did well for a new comer. However, I got criticism about my looks and appearance. They felt that traditional look didn’t suit me. It was purely the vision of the director and I had to follow his instructions. People saw real me only in the songs of Maro Charitra.

What is your educational background?
I completed my 1st year in BA (Journalism). I am planning to complete it through correspondence now. I am a trained Bharata Natyam and classical dancer. I learnt playing music also. I had been performing on stage since childhood. Film industry is a place where art meets music and this is the place where I want to be in.

How proficient are you in Telugu?
I can understand Telugu, but can’t speak fluently. My grammar and pronunciation is not good in Telugu.

What kind of roles you want to do in future?
I want to do different characters and be versatile. I want to do comedy, heavy drama and action flicks as well.

What kind of movies do you like?
I am into fantasy movies. I love films like Lord of the Rings, Batman, Superman etc. I also like romantic comedies and off-beat movies.

What are your future projects?
There are a few proposals. I am going to USA for a week now and will finalize it after coming back.
