Dear
friends,
The
movie - The Legend of Bhagat Singh, has moved me a lot. The story
of the great Indian freedom fighter had made me think for a while.
I felt like putting my thoughts before friends like you, my fellow
Indians.
Its
our ill-fate that, we are living in such an independent India where
the education system doesn't give us a chance to know the life history
about great martyrs who fought for the Independence of this nation
and sacrificed their lives for the same cause, except through such
boldly presented movies.
Since
childhood we are injected with the feelings that freedom struggle
means Congress and freedom fighters means Congress leaders. We respect
those leaders. But, Is there no scope for the sacrifices made by
leaders like Sardar Bhagat Singh, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, Chandra
Shekhar Azad, Raj Guru, Sukh Dev and many more other leaders? Is
it a crime not to be associated with Congress? What's the reason
behind this? The party, which ruled independent India for about
50 years, has to answer this. Otherwise the future will never forgive
them.
Bhagath
Singh at a tender age of 23 along with Raj Guru (22), Sukh Dev (22)
sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the nation. The patriotism
and sacrifice of the leaders like Bhagath Singh; Netaji is inspirational
to the Indian youth. But, how does one salute the sacrifice of these
great leaders? Is it not by implementing their thoughts and making
their dream about India in to a reality? Bhagath Singh wanted a
socialist India, where every one has the same right, where there
are no communal tensions, where brotherhood among all the Indians
exists.
It's
the duty of all of us to make this a reality. But we are busy with
caste and religion fights and don't have time to think about the
nation. Lets come out of these meaningless thoughts and build an
ideal India.
After
watching the movie, I could not resist praising the skills of the
director Raj Kumar Santhoshi, who with his great directorial talent
brought the life of a great son of Mother India, a true legend Bhagat
Singh, alive before us. I extend my thanks to all those actors who
lived in their roles of Chandra Shekhar Azad, SukhDev, Raj Guru
and Netaji, in this great visual presentation of our freedom struggle.
The effort that was put in to gathering the life incidents of Shaheed
Bhagath Singh and our freedom struggle are praise worthy.
As
an admirer of Telugu movies, I would like to request all the Telugu
moviemakers who are very much interested with cast and factional
movies bearing an attitude of suppressing a section and biased towards
a region, to come out of their selfish thoughts and to take an inspiration
from films like Bhagath Singh and respect the great leaders and
their thoughts of Socialist India.
Finally,
I end my thoughts by saluting the sacrifices made by these great
freedom fighters, who according me are the real Bharat Ratna's.
Jai
Hind
Prakash
