Mohan Babu is remaking the Tamil blockbuster Adithadi in Telugu as Political Rowdy. This film is a political satire with Charmy and Prakash Raj doing important role. A song is being canned on Mohan Babu and other comedians (Sunil, Ali, Venu Madhav, Raghu Babu, Gowtam Raju etc) who are acting as his followers. Shooting of this song is going on at Pragati Resorts which is located outside the city. Mohan Babu arranged a press meet to share the details of progress -

Speaking on this occasion Mohan Babu said, "Talkie part of the film is almost complete. Shooting of songs and a few action episodes is pending. A song would be canned in sets, another one in Vizag city. Three more songs would be canned in abroad. The set song would choreographed by Bosco Caesar - a popular Mumbai based choreographer. This song would cost around 35 lakhs as the set properties cost more and we are getting models for Singapore to perform in this song. The current song is a song where assistants of hero would be asking why he is not getting married. The dialogues written by Paruchuri brothers are crisp and powerful.

Character actor Tanikella Bharani said that this film is a satire on current political system. He is playing the role of uncle to hero. He described this film as complete entertainer in Mohan Babu's style.

Sunil is playing the role of MLA. Raghu Babu is doing the role of a drunkard. Ali and Venu Madhav are playing sidekicks to hero.

This film is being directed by Adi and produced by Mohan Babu on Sri Lakshmi Prasanna banner.
