After a 70-kilometre journey by road from Rajahmundry another
ten-kilometer travel on a launch amidst the turbulent waters
of the Godavari near Papikondalu, one reaches the dense area
of Coonavaram where the shooting for Maharshi Cinema's maiden
venture, Avunu! Valliddaru Ishtapaddaru directed by
                    Vamsi is in progress.

The director seems to be in awe of the surroundings. "Akhanda
Godavari turns into a serene, 50 ft. deep stream here.
The water is pristine pure and the virgin location is a gift
of Nature with everything from trees, leaves to water being
so pure. One can find nature's splendor in its best form here.
Ever since my first film, Sitara, I have been shooting here
regularly," informs Vamsy as he watches choreographer
Swarna teaching dance movements to the lead pair, Ravitheja
                    and Kalyani.

It is a love story set in a middle class atmosphere. Two strangers
meet under strange circumstances and love blossoms between
them. How they overcame problems and make it to the altar
forms the central theme. I assure you it is a different love
story, truly different," smiles Vamsy, who's making a
comeback after a hiatus of six years. "During this period,
I read a make a film once again and here I am," laughs
Vamsi. After they are through with the rehearsal, Ravitheja
and Kalyani join in the conversation. At the beginning of
my career, I pleaded for a one-scene role without success.
Now I am playing a hero in his movie and it will be a milestone
in my career," says Ravitheja. Kalyani expressed similar
feelings. "There is a lot of scope to perform",
                    she says.

For producer Valluripalli Ramesh, it is like a dream comer
true. "I have been associated with Vamsy's debut film,
Manchu Pallaki. And ever since it was my dream to make
a film with him. Chakri has come up with scintillating music.
It is an out and out Vamsy film with his inimitable stamp.
We are planning to release the movie in the first week of
                    July," informs Ramesh.
