An open letter to editor

Dear Editor,

I am Ramana Reddy working as a software programmer in KL, Malaysia for the past 2 and half years. I would like to take this opportunity to enlighten you about one of the most memorable experiences I had in my life i.e. meeting our beloved chief minister Mr. Chandra Babu Naidu garu on Sunday 11th, 2002. It all started in the early hours of Sunday morning when rumors were going around with the news of our CM coming to KL. Initially I didn't give serious thought to the rumors but around 1pm, I got a call from one of my friend that our CM is in the INDIAN HIGH COMMISION in KL and I myself gave a thought, whether its a good idea of going to meet our CM and whether I am going to have a good experience or going to have a bad experience of meeting another famous personality. Because I had a very bitter experience of meeting some of the so called famous personalities of telugu movie industry.

This happened during last year around FEB 2001, if I am not mistaken during the shooting of Venkatesh starrer "Premato Raa". That particular day (Sunday) myself along with one of my friends were doing shopping in a local mall where we came across Mr.Banerjee (Character actor of shiva, ninne pelladuta fame). And let me tell you he was such a gentle man that made us think that movie personalities are very humble and cordial towards the outside people. He spent nearly an hour time with us having "CHAI" and smoked few cigarettes together with us. In between the talk he invited us to GRAND CONTINENTAL HOTEL on Monday, i.e. the next day and promised to introduce us to Victory Venkatesh. We were very thrilled about the whole affair of meeting Venky in person. So the next day all of us (6 of us) came from our offices quite early and headed towards the hotel immediately from our house and were there by 7PM. The shooting of the movie was still going around at some part of KL and the crew was expected around 8pm to the Hotel. We just waited and one of the shooting buses arrived near the Hotel and we saw few guys walking towards the Hotel. To our thrill, the guys were none other than our famous comedian BRAHMANANDAM AND ALI. But that was it. The honeymoon without even starting has got almost over. We tried to introduce ourselves but they never even cared to talk or give a smile at least. We controlled ourselves and thought they might be tired but immediately after 5 mints they came down and headed towards the BAR. These so called actors were too busy to even talk to fellow telugites outside INDIA. In India we can understand. There surely would be more number of people and its difficult affair all together but why outside the country they got to behave like that. Why is this apathy towards fellow telugites? We decided all these famous personalities are good on the screen and TV but not in real life. After that we thought when these two comedians are like this then how about VENKATESH. It might be more bitter experience in store for us. So we made our way out of the HOTEL.

Why I am telling you this experience is because when on my way towards the INDIAN HIGH COMMISION to meet our CM, all these thoughts were flooding my mind. That too I was going to meet our CM, the Numero Uno person of our state. But all thoughts were put to rest after meeting our CM. He was very humble and cordial and he even spared few minutes to talk to the people present there not even bothering about his busy schedule. I was so happy that I made it a point to share my experience with my fellow telugites. Great personalities are not just made but they are born. Long Live our CM. Till date I only heard people enchanting this slogan and I never myself fancied to say this but now I am whole heartedly saying this from the core of my heart "ZINDABAD MANA CM CHANDRABABU NAIDUGARIKI". With this mail I am sending a pictures taken with our CM also. And I hope that you will print this article in my favorite website. The least said the best, I JUST LOVE IDLEBRAIN.COM. TOO GOOD MAN! KEEP IT UP! My day never ends without browsing through your website and I keep on recommending my friends about the website. It should reach to levels of the biggest names in this business.

Thanking You,

Yours Friendly,

RAMANA REDDY
