Haranath Polichera is acting in and producing a film titled Chandrahas. This film is directed by Shivashakti Dutta (father of MM Keeravani). Chandrahas is all set to release on 22 June. Here is are a few excerpts from this chitchat -

What is Chandrahas all about?
The story of Chandrahas connects historical event to the present times. Chandrahas is the name of the sword of Chatrapati Sivaji. It is an exciting concept that falls in different genre.

Don’t you think working with a person like Shivashakti Dutta is risky?
He has a strong team of Vijayendra Prasad and MM Keeravani. He is good at work. We worked over the script for five months. We had one co-director and six assistant directors for this film.

What are the highlights of Chandrahas?

1. Story.
2. Messages: Hindu & Muslim unity - terrorism vs. patriotism
3. Songs: MM Keeravani also worked over one month for rerecording in this film.

What is the during of Krishna’s role in this film?
Krishna did the role of Chatrapati Sivaji. He brought the believability to the character. His role lasts for 10 minutes in the film.

Tell us about your character in the film?
I am doing the role of an archeologist who is very determined. Like Chatrapati Sivaji, he too love his mother very much. There is bit of similarities to Indiana Jones series in this film.

What about Abbas character?
He is doing the role of an emotional Muslim.

Are you pinning your hopes on this film?
It is a wonderful and exciting film. I never have any expectations on my films. I hope people will like it. There is fresh element and natural taking in the film.

Tell us about your next film?
I have 2 films titled Indian Diary and Hyderabad Mirchi on my platter. Both these films are outside films.
