Open Letter regarding IB Discussion Board

Dear Editor

This is not the first time I am writing to Idlebrain with regards to the Discussion Board.
I wrote earlier an open letter, but Jeevi instead of posting it on the Site, promptly replied back to me saying that he would clean up the site.

For a couple of months the cleaning effort did not take place. Then all of a sudden the getup of the discussion board changed with IP addresses locked for some time. And later on the IP addresses are again visible on the discussion postings.

Lets get this straight. It's not just enough to mention the terms and conditions like "The person who posts is to blame for the content and the site management is not responsible for that"

If it IS the case, then go and check the current discussion forums, almost 99% of the threads are filled up with filth and dirty language.

I am not saying that everybody who posts there is posting filth. There are reasonable number of people who do this continuously. Also note that few people keep posting the same message in all active/inactive threads.

Basically Idlebrain.com is a very interesting site even without the discussion forums. This site gives us much up-to-date information in a very attractive package than any other Telugu Movie sites so far.

People do keep visiting Idlebrain even if there are no Discussion boards. I can understand that its very very hard to go into each and every thread to find dirty language and either delete the thread or that particular posting. It difficult because the language of intention is TELUGU which is typed in ENGLISH. We cannot search on the basis of a dictionary to make the filth finding simpler. There needs to be one dedicated person watching all the postings as they are posted real time, check the content and delete correspondingly.

As I mentioned in my earlier open letter (That never got published on-site), that 99% of the discussions end up in a fight between Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna fans. And This is exactly where I hate our CASTE system. Just because the above said actors belong to two different conflicting castes the entire fights begin there. Just imagine that they do belong to the same caste, would the fans be still fighting?? I don't think so! I may be wrong.

Instead of developing constructive criticism and help maintain healthy discussions, the discussion board is being flooded with filth day by day.

Also, I don't understand one thing, the guys who post in these threads of DB are NRI's that are well qualified, educated and well-mannered (hopefully) people. How come these guys have such deep-rooted hatred just in the name of caste???

My Sincere request to the Jeevi is,

If you feel that the Idlebrain.com site to be totally filth-less, then the options you have left are:

1). Remove the Discussion board completely (Most preferable)
2). Get into every thread and clean the filth and maintain it consistently (which is very tough)

My sincere request to the FANS (whichever hero they belong to)

Just think that you are posting filth, would you talk in the same filthy language with your family or friends? Would you?

If not then why the heck to post on a site and make it uncomfortable to be visited by other commoners who just want to get some info and pass some time ?? Please STOP IT GUYS!!!!
