Open Letter to Aswini Dutt

Hello Mr. Aswini Dutt,

I have long enjoyed your blockbuster movies with Chiru starting with JVAS. I loved the latest movie INDRA. Starting from the storyline, screenplay and technical aspects, the movie was a visual treat. Especially the sets and the songs picturization was mind blowing, showing your era in the film making for the past 25 years. A simple thank you would not be enough from a small time fan like me.

Recently, you have issued a statement to idlebrain.com that cine fans should help with anti-piracy. This was a great initiative taken by you, and I think it was successful, compared to other anti-piracy drives. Then, you even said that you were happy to announce that Indra's 100 days function will be held in U.S with cast and crew. Well, Indra's 100 days has passed, 125 has passed, 150 has passed, I am pretty sure 175 is going to pass too, so we all get the picture here.

Indra was playing in Chicago, which was about 140 miles (two hour drive) from Bloomington, where I go to college. I drove with 12 other friends in 3 cars, just to see Indra. Then Indra was played in Bloomington a month after that and we saw it again. I am sure you believe Indra was the biggest grosser in U.S also. If it wasn't for the fans here, would it have been possible?

You should have had the 100 days function as you promised, next time you ask for something from the fans, please be ready to give something back, or else don't give statements at all. The fans are always ready to help, we never expect anything back, just another blockbuster from MEGASTAR. I'm sure you will continue to make excellent movies in the times to come.

Let my words be marked, but it's too late for action

Thank You
Gautam
Chiru fan for life
