            Openletter
              to Devi Sri Prasad
            Dear
              Devi Sri Prasad,
            Firstly,
let me congratulate you on giving one musical hit after another
and finishing off 2002 with a musical Super Hit like "Manmadhudu".

            I
write this open letter to you after reading the "Telugu
film Gossip" section as reported on March 5th, 2003. I
am surprised that even after giving such Hit/melodious music you
have no projects currently. I've been waiting for your next movie.
I love your music right from Anandam to Khadgam to Manmadhudu. The
melody, the choice of instruments, the orchestration, the use of
vocals is too good, even your background score (referring to "Manmadhudu").
Everything seems so much in sync.
            I
am an undergraduate student (2rd year) in the US. I regularly visit
idlebrain.com and listen to all the songs. I loved the songs from
"Manmadhudu" and that's what made me watch the
movie on the first day when i visited Hyderabad in December. You
will be thrilled to know how much the international community here
loves your songs! My friends from America, Africa, Asia and those
from India who are non-Telugu's always hum your songs; Gundello
Emundo and Don't Marry from "Manmadhudu"
in particular as well as songs from Anandam (Kanulu Terichina,
and the words "Who is that girl, where did she come from"...from
Monalisa) and Nuvvu Nuvvu from Khadgam. I could go
              on with this list.

I write this letter as an encouragement. Most of my friends and
me consider you the Rising Rahman of Tollywood. Of course, there
are established and successful music directors like Mani Sharma
and R P Patnaik (whose music also I like a lot), but your music
is refreshing, young, breezy, peppy, stylish, massy/classy, racy
              and melodious.
            Being
disappointed is okay, but please don't be discouraged. Keep up the
work and your faith and with the support of your fans like me your
day will come when you will walk up and receive the award for the
              Best Music Director!
            Wishing
              you all the good luck,
            Harish
