Openletter to Pawan Kalyan

Dear Pawan Kalyan,

I am a student in US. Like a typical Andhra student, I am your ardent fan. I always liked your attitude and you being different from the league. I haven't watched Johnny yet. It is not released in our place but I am going to watch it in a near by city (4 hours drive) even though I heard bad talk about the film.

But I understand that you made an unconventional film, which has less chances of becoming a hit. Like everybody, I was expecting to see an entertainer like Kushi and badri from you. Like everybody, I was hoping to see lot of fun and beautiful dances and your histrionics on screen. Like everybody, I may be disappointed after I watch Johnny. But I will still be your fan and always will be. One movie flop is not going to change much for a fan. I still know you have it in you and you will kick back with double force.

The main reason I am writing this letter is to request you to save the distributors families from coming on the streets because of the huge amounts they paid for Johnny. I know that they should be prepared for losses when they buy a movie but here I would like to mention that everyone who bought the movie expected a different kind of movie all together from you. They had high expectations from you as a director. They had blind faith in you. That is the reason they paid astronomical amounts.

I believe you care for your wellwishers and those who believed in you. Please try to give whatever table profit the producer made from this movie back to the distributors so that they get atleast part of their investment back.

Since you are not producer of Johnny, if this is not possible for you, at least promise them the rights of your next movie under your own production for cheaper rights. I am sure you can spend 3 months for their sake and make a movie for them. Please announce your reaction as soon as possible as that will bring smile to your fans and well wishers.

I request you to make films at faster pace so that your fans wont have to wait for 2 years to watch another movie of their favorite star. Once again JOHNNY RULES if not on screen but surely OFF SCREEN.
