Chandra Sekhar Yeleti has made the three songs of Prayanam movie available for free download in idlebrain.com. Now he tells us about the situation of each song –

YYW (Yeah Ya Woh) (listen | download):
Yeah Ya Woh means 'this or that' in Hindi. It took one month for the lyricist Anant Sreeram to pen this song. This song comes 15 minutes after the movie commences. The hero and heroine enter airport during this song. If you listen to the lyrics carefully, there are three points of view. This song starts with the voice of a third person. This song explains the attitude and characterizations of hero and heroine. This song gives a take of hero and heroine towards life and life’s journey.

There is philosophy in this song. At the same time, I don’t want it to be preachy. Hence Mahesh Shankar came up with light and peppy music for these lyrics.

Meghama (listen | download): This song comes during an interesting pretext. Hero bets with his friends that he would usher away a feather from one end to another end without it falling on the ground. Heroine is bringing coffee. Both of them collide and hero is in no position to observe what happened as he is concentrating on the feather. In the process, his shirt and her dress entangled and she is forced to walk away with him. I wanted to insert a fresh love song at this junction. And I needed a third person to sing that song about this couple. It was Mahesh Shankar’s idea to have a girl child to sing that song. It is like a voice from the sky (Aakasa Vani) is singing. I also preferred kid’s voice as it represents purity.

Nuvvu Entha (listen | download): This song comes 20 minutes before climax in a strange situation. Hero comes and proposes to heroine and he would say that she is the one for him. By observing his attitude, she asks him if he might like some other girl tomorrow. Hero could not answer her question. Doubts are filled in the minds of both of them. Heroine is worried if she is falling in love with him. Hero is worried if he really loves her or not. This song represents the state of confusion in both their hearts.

Lyrics are very important for all these three songs. If you follow the lyrics, you would enjoy these songs more.
