Idlebrain.com has caught up with actor Vishal jut a day before the release of his latest bilingual Pista. Vishal shares some interesting information about his 550-prints release Pista and on his next project. Here are a few excerpts –

Have you seen Pista? How is the movie?
Yes. I saw the movie 10 times so far. It is good and is going to be a commercial entertainer.

What is the story of Pista?
The story of the movie is about a boy from village coming to Vizag to search his long lost elder brother. His elder brother is separated when he was five. The rest of the story is all about various situations he encounters while searching for his brother.

Why is it titled as Pista?
We titled the movie as Pista as it denotes the attitude of the hero in this movie. He uses his brain to outsmart everybody. There is also an important dialogue uttered by Prakash Raj in the second half that justified the title.

How is Shriya?
She is hot and gorgeous on the screen. She has got a cute character in this movie.

What is your favorite song in this audio album?
‘Naa Maharani’ is my favorite (click here for video). It is shot on a beach with guitar theme.

Tell us about the director?
S Ayyappa worked as an associate director for my movie Bhayya. He wanted to narrate a script at that time. I had already committed Salute by then. I liked the script and did this movie immediately after Salute was released. It is a good commercial script. This is Ayyappa’s first movie as a director.

How many prints Pista is releasing with?
Pista is releasing with 550 prints worldwide (300 in Tamil and 250 in Telugu).

Tell us about your next movie?
It will be produced by Singanamala Ramesh (producer of Komaram Puli and Varudu) and will be directed by Thiru. I am playing the role of a playboy. It is a romantic film.

Why are you repeating Shriya back to back?
This film requires three heroines. I have to be honest with you. We initially considered Trisha for that role and it didn’t workout. Hence we cast Shriya. Her body language and glamour goes well with that characterization. Reema Sen is doing another heroine. We have not cast the 3rd heroine of the movie so far. We might go for Neetu Chandra.

Why are you sticking for commercial and mass films? Any plans to do out-of-box movies?
I too have the same question for myself. I have to choose from what I get. I am looking forward for an out-of-box script. I hope it to happen in the next one year.

On the personal front, are there any moments in your life where you considered yourself as a Pista?
Yes. I behave like a Pista when I am challenged. Other wise, I am a down-to-earth and a friendly guy
