Nagarjuna has seen ‘Ye Maya Chesave’ movie and he is excited about it. Nagarjuna spoke with the media regarding the same and expressed his opinions and happiness about his son Naga Chaitnya’s second movie ‘Ye Maya Chesave’. Here are the excerpts –

You had seen the movie. What are your opinions on Ye Maya Chesave?
There were some remarks when Geetanjali was released. People said this movie had no flights, most of the movie is dark, hero had light beard etc. But it went on to become a classic of Telugu cinema. Ye Maya Chesave too has that much of feel in it. AR Rehman infused life into the movie with his songs and background music. Gowtam Menon’s direction and producer’s production values are excellent. I had seen a good romantic movie after a long gap. Ye Maya Cheseva is a visual poetry.

I got Geetanjali film after doing many films and I am glad that Naga Chaitanya got it now itself. It is very difficult to get such characters in anybody’s career. There is realistic performance and movie is thoroughly entertaining. Krishnudu (Vinayakudu fame) also entertained a lot.

What improvements did you observe in Naga Chaitanya in this movie compared to his debut Josh?
He has got maturity in his acting compared to josh. There is lot of energy in dialogue delivery, dances and acting. But Ye Maya Chesave is the result of absolute team work of cast and crewmembers.

How did Gowtam Menon do?
He dealt the entire movie with lot of sensibility. My fans did protest during the release of Geetanjali saying that there are neither fights nor duets. They also couldn’t digest the theme of hero suffering from cancer. Some of the theatre operators deleted some scenes. It took a week for the people to digest the theme and it picked up from the second week. I am requesting my fans to view YMC as a realistic and nice romantic love story.

What did you say to Naga Chaitanya after watching YMC?
I told him that he should consider himself to be lucky to be a part of YMC.

What are the scenes you liked in YMC?
The first meet of hero and heroine, first kiss scene, first scene of departing.

Which song did you like personally a lot?
Kundanapu Bomma is my favourite song. Manasa song that comes towards climax is the most heart touching one.

What is your prediction of YMC commercial result?
I am confident that it will generate positive report. After Josh, people come to theatres without any expectations. Hence it will be easy to satisfy their expectations.

Naga Chaitanya is doing movies for outside banners?
I am feeling proud of it. We can make Naga Chaitanya’s movies on our home banner anytime. Let him do movies for other banners now.

When is your next movie in Dil Raju’s production?
It is starting this week. It will be a different movie from a different genre.

Will Naga Chaitanya do action movies?
His next movie is an action entertainer. I don’t want him to get stuck to one image. He should do films of all genres. Chandan Reddy (son of D Siva Prasad Reddy) has gone to USA for locations scouting.
