Open letter to Chiranjeevi

Dear Chiranjeevi

Let me at the outset thank Idlebrain.com and Jeevi for introducing this open letter concept as a means for fans to reach their stars. I am one of your millions of ardent fans who watch each and every movie of yours and enjoy to the tilt.

You must have received countless appreciations and eulogies for your skills and talents as an actor during your endearing career. But I would like to take this opportunity to look at your career from a different angle and express my other views which normally you don't hear or read.

Potential - Performance Gap

As a fan I am content with your achievements. I still look forward to enjoy more achievement from you. But let me express my true feelings here. I am still discontent with respect to your untapped potential as an actor. Potential - Performance gap factor is one of the major reasons for leaving some of your fans discontent.

I have been one of your millions of fans who followed your career very closely. You struggled very hard to improve your performance over a long period of time. It is amazing to see the strides you have made right from Pranam Khareedu to yester year's Indra. You have definitely achieved perfection and conviction in your act.

But millions of your fans believe very strongly that you have enormous potential to deliver a memorable movie. You have terrific untapped talent. The talent extracted by the directors from you so far is still merely represents a tip on the iceberg. I strongly believe that there is a wide gap between your potential and actual performance. You have fallen flat to the demon "image" and really afraid to give a chance to your hidden talent to extract your true potential. I know the talent of young Chiru from films such as 47 days, PunnamiNagu, Vijetha, Subha Lekha, ApadhBhandhavudu etc. Your hard core fans like us really expect from you a life time movie that gives you ample scope to rake in your hidden and untapped talent to the core.

Here are my suggestions

1. I understand the enormous expectations from your fans and also the burden of responsibility to keep your position. Please plan the release of a performance oriented movie right after a mega hit movie.

2. Make sure that performance oriented movie is made with low cost to make it economically viable keeping in view the box office sensitivities.

3. Introduce new talent to give freshness.
