Open letter to Vamsy

I remember I always used to have a special regard for Vamsy movies whether it be Sitara where the river Godavari had a special mention in the song vennello godari andam or it be Preminchi Pelladu where the nativity reflects, but when I saw Donga Ramudu & Party I sat down and gave a second thought if it was the same director who used to carry the percipience of any subject with a conciliate flair yet maintaining the standards what the rest of his movies were. Yes, I was disappointed.

It's a human tendency to sketch any song which you hear first before you see the video, and the audio was bewildering just the way Sreya Sunil wrote in the audio review, but the true disappointment comes when you see the video of the songs. Well undeniably, I donot question the locales of the songs but I question the trend of this famous director who always used to remind us the true nativity of where we belong and come from.

I know that the very trend of the society is changing and people want change, but the true contentment comes when you see yourself in the shoes of the leading actor or actress. Take for instance Kanakamahalakshmi recording dance troupe where the characters best fit your imagination and of course Sitara where Bhanupriya tries hard to maintain the secrecy of her true identity. With a setback coming in the form of W/O V. Varaprasad, Avunu Vallu Iddaru Istapaddaru came as a breather but still missed the very nativity, the reason it was fully shot in one of the studios in Hyderabad. Again take for instance April 1 vidudhala or Ladies Tailor (and I donot belong to any political organization while I repeat nativity often) where you have the rural ambience and you would truly relish them. A director becomes solitary when he/she tries something different from rest of the mob, meaning of the rest of the directors are canning their shots/songs in foreign locales you could say here is one who dares trying something different and I am sure people wouldn't get offended when they see their villages on the big screen. So what makes him think that these foreign locale songs would be good bet for the audience? Well this question being still left unanswered one thing is for sure we expect something more and something different from him making him once again the most relished director we once had.
