Abhejit is an engineering graduate and has been acting in theater. He saw a casting call in idlebrain.com and selected for LBW movie. Here are the excerpts chitchat -

Background:
I was born and brought up in Hyderabad and I recently finished my B.tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Im an actor by profession and I've been doing theatre for the past three years in Hyderabad and so far performed in 3 plays such as Ek se Badhkar Ek(Hindi) -5shows in Hyd,Manoranjan Tax Free(Hindi)-2 shows in Hyd and On Vacation(English) -7 shows in Hyd and had the privilege to perform at the prestigious 'RANGA SHANKARA Theatre' , Bangalore. Also I'm a trained dancer in Hip-hop that includes a wide range of styles notably B-boying , locking, and popping.

How did you get an opportunity to work for lbw?
I happened to see this casting call by 'A working dream production' on idlebrain.com and applied for it. Then I auditioned for Jai's character and eventually got selected for the role.Thanks to my director Mr.Praveen Sattaru for believing in me and trusting my abilities as an actor.

What is the character u r playing in the movie and explain about it
My character's name is Jai. He is the epitome of righteousness, an introvert by nature who is very sensitive ,mature and honest. For me Jai's character interested the most when I read the script as this character has so many layers of emotions which are portrayed throughout the film so strongly that the audience will connect themselves to him and feel his every emotion.

What kind of movies do you like and how do you want to model yourself in the future?
I love watching movies of all genres as long as they are entertaining and for me subtitles cross linguistic and media barriers .

I myself am the audience when I come across a script that moves, touches and excites me, and it’s only then that I would want to work with it and play a variety of characters that are challenging and performance oriented , so i can prove my versatility as an actor.

Tell us about some interesting/funny incidents happen while shooting?
Funny incident reminds me of one particular montage shot where Jai and Anu (Female lead character) had to cook food at her place , so we were given a bowl of sambar by the production guys and inorder to make the scene look interesting we tossed the dish with indefinite amounts of salt ,pepper and chilli powder that was available and we finally were gratified that the shot came out well. Ironically, we were served the same dish in the subsequent scene and our expressions were very naturally captured on camera. Thanks to our director Praveen...Lol.. :p .

What are your future projects?
Frankly, I haven’t yet come across anything that excites me, as I feel that my core responsibility as an entertainer is to give people a good time . Hopefully once LBW is released, I'll have a wider spectrum of projects offered and then ill choose the best one that excites me.
