Open letter to MS Raju

Dear sir,

I am a avid movie watcher and a big fan of Telugu cinema all my life, its been disheartening and a pain to watch all the run of the mill fare which is being churned out of Tollywood year after year with no change in the mass masala formula which our film makers adhere to steadfastly not realizing that the audience is fed up of this kind of stuff and want something innovative and fresh.

In times like these you have come as a fresh breath of air for movie fans like me and millions of others, it has been very refreshing and a matter of pride in front of other non Telugu friends when we discuss about movies when I present them with a Okkadu or a Varsham. Its a fact that Telugu cinema hasn't gone anywhere in the last few years when compared to Tamil cinema or Malyalam cinema, its painful to watch all our big stars doing remakes of our lowly neighbors who aren't any better than us.

Here when I mention about those two movies, these two movies by you are totally original and also reiterates the fact that with the right vision and focus Telugu cinema is unrivalled I just don't have enough words to laud your skills as a film maker, you acumen in recognizing talent and timely execution of your projects will make any software programmer like me proud.

Mahesh, Prabhas, Trisha, Siddharth, the stardom you brought them, giving Guna Sekhar the break to finally break the shackles and establishing his creative self, experimenting with Prabhudeva successfully, I really cannot applaud enough, it is sad that the public only applauds the KINGS but not the KING MAKER.

For me you are the true KING MAKER in Telugu cinema right now and I proudly announce to all my friends that you are the SHOWMAN of Telugucinema ala Subhash Ghai and Raj Kapoor.

On an another note, I was following idlebrain about your future releases and the titles themselves have stirred a lot of anticipation and excitement in me, Aata and Pournami are very intriguing and I know that you will not disappoint us.

One the eve of your latest blockbuster NVNV's USA release I congratulate you and wish you all the very best for your future projects.
