Open letter on Indian cricket team

It was really very bad to watch India losing to bowlers who are not even world class and of all the sad thing we lost to a part time bowler (Afridi).

The question arises why did this happen? When we started at 25/0 on final day no one has any trouble All were expecting India will either go for a kill or at most a draw.

Then where did everything went wrong?

As Javed Miandad said after 1st test in his article India lack killer instinct. We are lazy. We are not lazy to act in commercials but we are definitely lazy to show to 100 crore Indians that we can win.

Indian captain always give statements that its only matter of 2 tests and 3 tests that he failed to deliver!

Let's consider an example is Ganguly better than Mark Waugh? My answer is not all .When Mark Waugh failed Aussie board removed him from team. Ganguly is batsman of equal talent to Sachin and Dravid but in last couple of years he became a tail-ender for India.

Whenever Ganguly comes to crease none of the opposition has any trouble because they know he will give away his wicket in 10-15 balls.

What kind of captain is he? If a captain comes to bat he should deliver a match winning performance if not everyday at least once in a season/series. I rarely saw Ganguly's bat showing answer to opposition.

Now a days Indian spectators want him to go to pavilion early which worst time of his career since they lost hope on our Indian captain.

I plead Indian captain to leave his captaincy and concentrate on his play.

Many can say he brought spirit into Indians and he brought many youngsters.

So what? He brought spirit which is absent in him so he is odd man out.

I still see Ganguly saying words that we are next to Aussies how can he say this if we are next we have to fight which we don't do. We will fail if we get 4th innings to bat to bowlers who don't have 100 wickets also in test cricket. Then how can we still say we are no.2

Let us hope BCCI will take enough steps in bringing best out our "Talk much Do less" captain.
