Open letter to Krish Jagarlamudi

Hi Krish,

I am chaitanya from hyderabad, a software engineer by profession. I have watched gamyam on my birthday(7th march) along with my friends, though my friends were a bit aprehensive about the movie i persisted them on watching this movie and believe me it has been a great feeling watching your movie. The interesting point is the feel of the movie persited me in writing this mail to you.

The songs "one way" and "entha varaku" have really inspired me. Criticism first and praises next, i have 2 complaints, the basic storyline where you show janaki knows the value of life and on the other hand abhiram is a selfish guy. In the lead scene you show a lady being killed in a car accident, it would have been better if you have show her injured rather being killed. Because, janaki on one hands knows the value of life and she's very hard hitting in this perspective and knowing that abhiram was the cause for the death of the lady how can she accept abhiram's love towards her and the song "hatiri entha husharay chintamani" could be better, but the lead up to the fight was very good. This is just an after thought but not really a short coming. Almost in all movies i watch i pick few short comings but this one stands out. After Shaw shank Redemption, 12 Angry men and Rang De, in regard with the story perspective, for me, this has been another good movie which stands high in my list. The last 30 minutes have been altogether on a different level.

Naresh has been superb. i have been his fan right from his first movie (which i saw it becuase i could not get tickets for santhosham), the screenplay has been very good, where you constantly shift from present to past. Dialogues have been hilarious especially the ones of gaali seenu, my favorite being the "puli bidda".

The opening titles are very interesting and i have read your article in idlebrain where you mentioned the fact that it was meager finances that made you look for other alternatives. But believe me it has been very good. The naxalism part which you bring it in the end has been very good. I like writing stories, and i dream to make movies. From past year and half am writing a story on naxalism, where the story revolves around 4 individuals from different walks of society and how they perceive the social existence, and certainly i have got few inputs from your story thank you :-) and i will be certainly sending you the script once it is ready and will be certainly loking for the feedback.

Iam confident that you will be making good movies in future. At last i would like to thank you for making my birthday memorable.
